How Does It Work?
Sante's unique Microdermabrasion treatment diminishes the signs of aging by passing over the skin with a stream of colorless sapphire crystals. These crystals are used to exfoliate and polish the outer keratin layer of the dermis. The skin perceives the crystals as an injury to the stratum corneum (outter most layer of skin) and begins to reproduce fresh cells, thus, rejuvenating your skin and restoring a more youthful appearance. This advanced technology can be performed on all areas of the body and can be used on all skin types.
What Should I Expect?
This effective, FDA approved treatment causes minimal discomfort and requires no down time, or recovery time. During the treatment you may feel a slight tingling/stinging sensation as the crystals exfoliate your skin. There will be a visibly healthy glow following your treatment, similar to the flush of your skin after moderate cardiovascular activity. Removing the dead cells has revitalized your skin and prepared it for better absorption of topical nutrients. A high level sunscreen must be used throughout and after your microdermabrasion series.
